Devon Frye

Devon Frye is a writer based in New York City. She is a recent graduate of New York University, where she received a BA in journalism and comparative literature, with a minor in French. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and was the 2013 recipient of the Anna and John Peter Zenger Award. She has worked for Country Living Magazine and written for Scholastic MATH, and rode on a bus for 15 hours to North Carolina to report on the plight of child farmworkers.

Jenna Haines is a health writer and editor based in the south. Her work has appeared in Men’s Fitness Magazine, Holly Pinafore Magazine, University 101 and City Shape:Women's Health in New York City. Jenna studied at New York University as a selected member of the Presidential Honors Scholars Program and graduated with degrees in journalism and psychology in 2013. Taylor Hom

Taylor Hom is a freelance journalist. A recent graduate of NYU, she studied journalism, political economy, and Arabic. She has reported domestically as well as internationally from Ramallah, Palestine and Rabat, Morocco. Her writing has appeared in media outlets such as ABC News, NY Daily News, Al Safeer Newspaper, Washington Square News, Humanus Journal of Human Rights, and the World Policy Journal.

Florence Madenga is a writer living in New York City. She studied politics and journalism with a minor in French at New York University. Her Zimbabwean heritage influenced her project: writing about how African immigrants send the bodies of their loved ones back home to be buried. Her work has appeared in International Business Times, NYU Local and Gotham Magazine.

Anna Sanders grew up reading the Sun-Times tabloid on the Chicago North Shore. She graduated from NYU with journalism and environmental studies majors and has written for amNew York, The Huffington Post, Audubon Magazine, The New York Observer, the late New York Press and her hometown's independent bi-weekly, Evanston RoundTable. She has written for Harper’s Bazaar, The Knot and NBCUniversal’s iVillage. She lives in New York City.

Stela lives in New York City where she runs tfbnght.com--a website for art discovery, and freelances as a writer and videographer. All of this is, of course, a euphemism for busing tables, which Stela also does.
